Because of Climate change and human activities, such as indiscriminate deforestation, from around the world the desertification is underway. And the tenth session of the UNCCD (United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification) is being held in Korea, Chang-Won. As a result, our team became interested in the issue of desertification. So in this project, we'll understand the scientific mechanisms of desertification and find out how can we stop the desertification. Further we'll help the people to understand the seriousness of desertification, and encourage the environmental activities to prevent desertification.
